Hire an Excel Expert

The goal of this project is to create a VBA script (to use in the file "structure and filters", as described below) that will generate an excel file, called here "output file", with one sheet only, containing a product list with "tier prices". A product can have max 3 rows for each different tier level and related price. To generate the "output file" we will use 2 files. The first file is the "database" file containing the "base product list". Each product has its own "base price", and there will be columns aimed to add details for each product, like "brand" -> "family" -> "group" -> "subgroup". This columns will be used in a second file, as described below. The second file is used as "structure and filters" to understand which rows should be generated in the output file, in function of product code, subgroup, group, family or brand, with which tier levels and which price, for each tier level, to apply. For any product in the "base product list" that have the same brand, family, group or subgroup exposed in the "structure and filters", will have to be generated in the "output file". On the same row in "structure file" will be exposed tier levels (in three columns maximum) and, for each tier level, the percentage of discount to apply to the base price exposed in the "product list" file. For example: if the "product list" file contains 2000 products/rows, and 150 products has the column "subgroup" with the value "ABCDE", the script should look if the subgroup "ABCDE" exists in the "structure and filters" file and, if so, it should generated 3 rows in the "output file", one for each tier level found (in respective 3 columns), and it should calculate the price, getting the base price in the "product list" file and appling a specific % discount indicated in a specific column in the "structure and filters" price. NOTE: the complete structure of the "output file" will be sent once the project will be assigned.
