I use Azure to storage user-generated content that is uploaded from my API. Right now, any user can access a file if the user has the file URL. I do not want people to be able to download directly from my blob, however they are able to do that right now because the media file permissions are currently set to public to allow my website to access them in the first place. I want to protect this content so that it can only be accessed from a domain through my video player. So, in order to access the content, the user would need: 1) To play the content using my video player 2) These videos will only be played if they use a "token" in the URL. So something like this: https://www.my-web-site-com/[login to view URL] So if the user tries to open the video without the token, the if won't be able. If the user tries to open the video minutes later, he won't be able to do it either. I do not know if implementing this requires changes on my app. If possible, I want to avoid any change in the app and focus only on changes on the blob's configuration. I need you to provide all the steps/configuration necessary, so that I can replicate this in the future. If there is any alternative to do this, I would appreciate your recommendations. Hello There, Absolutely doable! Key areas of Azure that we have experience on are: 1. Design patterns (e.g. CQRS). 2. App Service - Web App, API App, Mobile Apps - de facto for most of our applications developed & deployed over Azure. 3. Azure SQL - de facto for RDBMS needs of Our applications. 4. IaaS/PaaS - based applications development & deployment. 5. Azure Storage - while routine usage for contents is normal, we have built a Dropbox-like feature that wraps Storage with REST API’s providing cross-platform file syncing. 6. DevOps - we have worked many aspects on it - e.g. GitHub / VSTS to Azure automated deployment, ARM templates-based resource governance, AppInsights to monitor azure infra and applications Health, Load balancing, Autoscaling through Schedule/Traffic based triggers. 7. Many other smaller utilities like - Azure functions - we have utilized this feature that greatly reduces price compared to worker roles. 8. Azure AD Apps development - we have implemented AD Apps that integrate with O365 as well. 9. Containers, Bot Framework, Machine Learning - at this point, we are venturing ourselves into these features’ implementation/usage in applications development; we already have PoCs in place for them. 10.
