SEO Content Writer

Horiba Scientific is seeking a talented Content Writer with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experience to write and produce various types of content. Utilizing SEO strategies and content writing as a journalist, you will create, optimize and distribute content that tells a story, attracts attention and helps promote Horiba’s brand as a trusted leader. This includes web content, brochures, white papers, applications notes, social media and more. This position will be responsible for identifying and executing opportunities to improve the company's organic ranking for all keywords. Horiba Scientific sell instruments to an unlimited number of industries so content and topics are virtually endless. The position requires a bachelor's in creative writing, journalism, advertising, communications or a related field and 3+ years of content writing and SEO experience. This is a full-time, in-house position located in our Edison, NJ office. Responsibilities: • Write content to improve the user experience in the buying cycle • Increase organic ranking of keywords • Ability to implement SEO best practices in relation to content creation • Improve and optimize existing content for better search ranking • Write content for our new products • Plan and execute whitepapers, application notes, webinars, landing pages, videos, social media etc. to engage the target audience • Develop eye-catching headlines, ad copy, and email copy that result in higher rates of engagement • Long and short copy writing • Work with graphic designers to enhance the visual representation and user experience Requirements • 3+ years of content writing and SEO experience • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Excellent storyteller, writer and journalists • Good understanding of content marketing, demand generation, and the buyer lifecycle management • Sharp attention to detail for grammar, spelling, and punctuation and adherence to brand guidelines • Portfolio of work: Content copy, landing pages, social media, email etc. required. Plus • Google certified • Experience with SEO software platforms: BrightEdge, Searchmetrics or Conductor • Experience with Marketing Automation: Marketo or Pardot
