I wrote an Indicator in Equilla (Tradesignal) and I would like to work with the Indicator on Metatrader 4 as well. Can you translate that? I would like to create an expert advisor based on that indicator. In the code attached theres the selection of the period by date. I should work on Metatrader for the last x bars.

SPECIFICATION To modify this free MT4 indicator: Linear Regression indicator (link: ). The basic indicator itself is fine as is and needs no changes made to it. The modification is to add an upper and lower band on either side of it. The values for both bands are to be determined by the Average True Range (ATR) indicator which comes as standard with MT4. The upper band will be the current Linear Regression (LR) value plus the current ATR value. The lower band will be the current LR value minus the current ATR value. The upper and lower bands will mirror one another with the main LR indicator running through the middle of them. ...functions as a order interface for my standalone Windows trading program. Basically, my program sends an open or close command with relevant order details. The expert would pick this up and open/close a corresponding order. It would only open the order at a favourable price and will retry until it gets one or the order is closed. That's all. The main complication is that the communications between my program and the expert which is done via a DLL of mine. I take trades only in the direction of the current trend. So I basically look for price action signals around the manually drawn support/resistance line. I look for these price action signals; 1. pin bars 2. engulfing bars 3. 2 bar reversal bars 4. inside bars I only trade these signals when they are around the manually drawn support resistance lines.
