Linode Datacenter / Inability to boot custom OS after migration

Looking for someone who knows Linode DataCenter CP and has dealt with their VPSs and custom images. In short, there was a migration and after migration the custom OS doesnt start.
Since the Linode is booting, then turning off seconds later, it leads be to believe that Linode does not have a properly configured bootloader.
The best may be to resolve it is create a new RouterOS image, boot from it, and then mount the old image to the configuration that is working.
