I made a script to do this but it does not have error checking (to see if the drives are mounted already) so it gives me annoying error mesages when it runs. The overall goal is to convert books into xml documents. We are essentially trying to capture three types of text blocks (“decks??, “text?? and “sidebars??). Several times every day I accidentaly start typing away when one language is selected, when I actually mean to type in the other language. I need an applescript that automatically drops files on an existing PhotoShop Droplet (that automatically converts jpeg and GIF-images to TIFF etc). The reason I want this, is because my email-program can put attachements (jpegs)in separate directories, but can't force the files to be dropped on the Photoshop Droplet. Need someone to either tweak existing code that almost gets the job done or rewrite to get to the end result. We need an applescript for OS-X that will open a folder of folders and take each legacy Quark doc (3.3 - v5) and save them up to Quark 6 to fix a bug in Quark 6 that renders each picture box with a clipping path setting that quark 6 causes to print improperly. Our existing code (which I will share or if you need for the basis of quoting, I will forward) works as long as Quark doesn't detect a missing font or graphic and cause the "usage box" to open.
