I need you to develop some software for me. I would like this software to be developed for Linux using Python. I have a windows program that works with serialport.

I use a RS485 to usb converter to connect to a instrument.

I need the program to work on a raspberry unit, it has a LCD touch display added.

I will provide the windows application that needs to be converted.
