Have worked in companies that do OEM design and manufacture contract or in house, and also run own businesses and contracted design service out. Completed projects have involved bluetooth, displays, batteries and charging them, and USB, often also involving a 3d design component. Often use GCC and visual studio code, so C/C++ and ARM processors are the thing there. Prefer digital design and embedded software work. Actually like working with Kicad, and Xojo as they are good to use and the latter has a proper platform independent native gui widgets unlike QT which seems otherwise common. Its hard for me to like Python because of this experience, also C# seems like a more organised language than Python. Altium is in my day job, and Python. Do prefer working in the embedded space. Use git for version control. Interested in music performance, and rubics cubes, time with my kids. Often have been an independent designer, responsible for taking specification, and taking it right through to a product, solving all problems. Tidy coding style, often use proto-threads over state machines where there is no operating system allowed in embedded. Documentation in markdown and doxygen. Have digital scopes and other items, so can look into electronic designs in detail if needed. manj
