I am an experienced legal professional with a career spanning over a decade, during which I have honed my expertise in various facets of the legal landscape. My journey has been characterized by versatility, as I have navigated through intricate areas of International Trade Law, Intellectual Property (IP) Laws, human resources, executive management, and employee-related legal matters. One of my key strengths lies in my ability to adeptly handle a wide range of litigation cases, including those in Civil, Arbitrations, Settlements, Contracts & Agreements, Chamber of Commerce and Association disputes as well as Criminal, SLS (Staff Legal Support), Land Acquisition, Corporate, Society Law and Tenancy disputes. This breadth of experience has allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the legal arena. A significant portion of my career has involved facilitating international legal processes and fostering collaboration with international Law firms, the Attorney General's Office, and Trade Investment officers. My responsibilities include managing documentation submission and meticulously assessing opposition notices and registration applications, particularly in the context of Geographical Indication (GI) and trademark registration. This role extends across multiple international jurisdictions, with a focus on institutions such as the European Commission and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Currently, I hold the position of "Manager Legal (Contractual basis)" with the Ministry of Commerce (Geographical Indications Cell) in Islamabad. Here, my dedication revolves around the convergence of International Trade Law and IPs regulations. I actively contribute to educational sessions aimed at enlightening stakeholders, and I provide valuable legal guidance to research experts & scientists, Registrants, Certification bodies, and authorized users, clarifying their roles under the relevant Laws.
