I am the treasurer of LABOREX CAMEROON and I have been responsible for the management of the treasury unit of three (3) since 2019. In this position, I am responsible for the management and analysis of the organization's eighteen (18) bank accounts using the treasury software program Kyriba. My good communication and negotiating skills with banks has exonerated the company from monthly bank charges, some fees on domestic transactions and a reduction in international transfer fees. Maintaining and improving security on online payments via Citidirect online banking is one of my daily routine. I make sure beneficiary accounts recorded in the system are properly used to avoid errors on domestic payments as well as making sure domestic and international suppliers get paid before the deadline so that the company can benefit from the discounts and bonuses. I participate in managing the treasury budget and make sure expenses from banks are minimized. My work helps organizations make informed decisions about how to best use their resources. As of 2020 the company benefited GBP 253 885 from a 3.8 million GBP term deposit. I realize and analyse the treasury reports through which the company achieved 92% of its key performance indicators (KPI) in 2022. My experience as an account Payable accountant and assistant treasurer created a positive impact on my journey from my performance appraisal. The tips and technics applied in reconciling bank accounts and accounts payable reduced the occurrences of unreconciled transactions to one page. Through this I was able to detect a theft case of GBP 38 859 which was recovered after a court decision. I succeeded in identifying five (5) illegal invoices contrary to company's policy. As an assistant treasurer, I was part of a team collecting debts from clients worth GBP 32 205.
