After 13 happy years in a full-time role at the Racing Post - working in both print and online - I went freelance to accommodate childcare during Covid. I now freelance on a regular basis for the Racing Post and am a creative content provider for PariMatch - an international betting company. Other copywriting clients include Rentokil-Initial and The Extra Inch (football podcast), and I have previously appeared in Total Film Magazine and provided content for bet365 and BetFred. My time as an editor and proofreader at a national daily paper demanded excellence in grammar, spelling and punctuation as well as a keen eye for detail. However, I consider my main strength to be my writing, encompassing a variety of very different styles to first-class standard. I have provided back-page leads for the Racing Post, SEO-led long-reads for PariMatch and research-driven B2B copy for Rentokil-Initial. But creative writing is my passion. I have a BA (Hons) in Scriptwriting for Film and Television and have been able to explore more creative forms of writing in my freelance work for PariMatch, TEI and others.
