Hire a C Programmer

Not only was the project on budget (which to be completely fair, she deserved a lot more than we had the funds for for the work she did -- we underestimated how much work was necessary), but it was thoroughly tested and flawlessly done. She was in constant communication with me throughout every step. Highly recommended, would hire again in a heartbeat.

Continued remote work to support Predictive Adaptive Lexicon project.

Worked in the Predictive Adaptive Lexicon project, which developed pioneering word prediction software aimed at assisting children who had reading and writing difficulties. I built a probabilistic syntactic parser into the existing (Pascal) word predictor, and compared the usefulness of this version with the original in terms of the improvements in childrens' written outputs. I did the necessary statistical analysis of the results, & wrote some conference papers on the project.
