We are looking for an experienced iPhone developer to redevelop an existing parameterised reference app "engine" that can be used to implement a wide range of apps without having to program each one separately. The redeveloped engine will be driven by a set of parameters and data contained in XML records. 18 apps using the existing engine are already in the iTunes app store including "1066 In An Hour" and "Writing to Get Published". We have many other quite different apps in preparation.
The redevelopment is specified in the attached document and we need to be implemented urgently.
We anticipate this being an ongoing relationship with further projects to include enhancements, iPad version, possibly an Android version, new projects etc.
We expect the selected programmer to have good practical experience of developing for the iPhone using Objective C and Xcode.
You must be fluent in English -- written & conversational. You must have access to Skype for progress "meetings", briefings etc.
Please bid for the initial set of redevelopment at a fixed price. Please confirm when you would be available to start on the project and how long you would expect to take.
