Demo Website Required For Pickleball Scoreboard

There is no dedicated scoreboard for the rapidly growing sport of pickleball . Game attributes are typically kept mentally and announced verbally which lends itself to confusion and exclusion of spectators . FYI: This is a recreational game of pickleball .[login to view URL]

Our company has previously developed a prototype scoreboard that operates on Raspberry PI advanced by simple audible commands. This prototype worked as designed under game conditions but exhibited limitations beyond the engineering .

We are now seeking to take this prototype concept online with the development of a “Demo Website “ that allows the scoreboard to be operated from a laptop which is then displayed on a screen elsewhere in real time . The work would involve transcribing the code from the prototype to the online version .

The thought is to have the scoreboard appear on the screen somewhat as per attached however alternate ideas are welcome .

The scoreboard diagram attached shows current game attributes ie Marcia and Korey on the Home team and Lorena and Raphael on the Away team , and although the diagram does not illustrate it, Marcia and Lorena are positioned in the right court areas whereas Korey and Raphael are positioned on the left court areas on their respective sides . The number 2 in the yellow rectangle indicates that Marcia is the second sever serving diagonally to Lorena , the score for the Home team is 8 versus 6 for the Away team, the rally count is 41 , and the duration between rallys 40 and 41 is 141 seconds . A number of these game attributes change from rally to rally however the prototype intelligently advances all the affected game attributes automatically simply by announcing the winner of the rally be it “Home” or “Away”. We would like to keep the online version as uncomplicated as the prototype version . Additional commands might be Start , End , Pause-Resume, and Flip Ends .

We simply want to demonstrate the accurate advancement of the game attributes for the Demo Website under game conditions using a laptop .The Demo Website need not work on a smart phone nor include features for customizing the scoreboard , player profiles , PIP , messaging and advertising features , however these features and others would need to be eventually added on subsequent iterations if the feedback from the Demo Website is successful .

We prefer procuring a fixed cost and expected timeline to complete the Demo Website as described herein . Also include the cost and time to add a home page and landing page to the Demo Website . Elaborate on pertinent experience .
