Overall my needs are very simple. you must be able to do it all, be a one stop shop. please read the entire job before responding.
build 2 websites (they can be similar or the same). the URLs are high traffic keywords through google. so i am hopeful through some white hat SEO strategies we can generate some decent traffic.
experience building good seo strategy and websites that can generate ad revenue are the main skills I am looking for.
you must be able to manage this project from start to finish and accomplish everything below. if its unclear please ask now.
Tasks:
Building 2 websites. both sites will basically do the same thing.

very simple and clean. Must be fully responsive and work on all devices. i may want the abilitiy to add more content later.
similar sites (do not copy) but this gives you an idea of how simple and the goal of the site:

The website must feature:
- Simple header
- maybe a sentence or two
- when a user lands on the site it detects location by IP address and displays local weather
- site must also feature a search function so a user can search other locations as well for weather
- privacy policy link at bottom
- join mailing list - link to mailchimp
- SEO strategy based on URL keywords and associated keywords.
- integrate google analytics
- site must contain a few advertising spots so I can post ads and generate revenue. you will be responsible for providing direction on how to set up google adsense or related
- you must be familar with what is required to set up the advertising and with who ie/google ads, outbrain etc...
