Add Star Wars effects to a short 42 second home video

I have a short 42 second MOV file of my 2 nephews "fighting" with light sabers. I'd like the following effects added:
1. Light saber glow effects throughout the clip.
2. Force lightening effects at different intervals (there are about 6 moments when the kids thrust out their hands where the lightening should be added).
3. And a single explosion effect (there's a moment where one of the kids pretend to fall, I'd like an explosion to trigger that fall).
