Work from Home: Project-Based Tax Preparer

Numbercraft, a full-service tax preparation and accounting firm, is looking to hire a Remote Project-Based Tax Preparer. This position earns a competitive wage depending on experience and ability.
Responsibilities:
-Compute taxes owed by following tax code using ProTax Connect Online
-Prepare or assist in preparing simple to complex tax returns for individuals or small businesses
-Help taxpayers by using their federal, state and local codes and see to it that clients receive the maximum benefit permitted under the law of government
-Uncover potential deductions and credits
-Advise against potential tax liabilities
-Ensure clients do not pay unnecessary taxes
-Review financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures
-Verify totals on past forms for accuracy
-Prepare tax returns using electronic filing software
Requirements:
-Tax preparation experience
-Comfortable with Google Workspace and Intuit tools
-Strong oral and written communication skills
-Must ensure confidentiality
-Must have 2 years’ experience in ProTax Connect Online
