Upload local tracking file to Shopify (API)

API script to bulk upload tracking numbers to Shopify

We need an API based script to upload Order Numbers and tracking to our Shopify store effectively marking orders as shipped.

We are looking forward to:

• Shopify Upload Tracking en masse.

• The file to be uploaded could be csv, excel or tab delimited. The file will contain 3 columns: order numbers, tracking numbers and carrier (Ex. Canada Post, USPS, Other, Etc.)

• We want the ability to specify the shipping date.

• We will be using a Windows platform to upload the tracking number.

• We want to upload up 2000 orders at a time. The script should observe the API call limit. If the script times out after certain number of orders, certain measures should be in place to break in batches and avoid interruption.

If there are other mandatory fields based on the API that require our input, we should know about it. For example, if sending an email to client one of the fields required within the API we may want to turn this on.

You would not have an access to our Shopify account due to limitation and company policy but we’d be able to test the script back and forth.
