Problem:
Tennis players and coaches sometimes find it difficult to recall and summarize in one place all relevant credits/points accumulated for example in the past 5 years or a specified date range.
Solution:
To support this process, we propose building an app + website that will receive and report on meeting or activity points.
Scope:
Build a mobile app (IOS + Android) + supporting website
2. Member will be able to add / edit Points:
a)Manually add via phone or website
b)Receive points information by email, PDF/text/JPG upload, scan completion certificate etc. OCR/Interpret info received or uploaded and update member account- identify member name, number of points, the title of the activity, event date etc.
c) Search and retrieve from other systems as follows:
* association or membership organization website (systems with API access that share content)
* Email accounts to retrieve earned points
d) Member will be able to review/validate/update/edit all imported points
3) Dashboard: Display earned points with the ability to sort alphabetically/ limit to criteria such as date range, type of event, text search etc
4) Download or email report summary to the member email address or to an additional email address (send a copy to member’s email address) XLS and PDF format
5) Include ads based on member criteria
6) List top events organized by areas of focus, geographic location etc.
7) Online Help: Provides online help or guidance to users throughout the application. Users are able to select help based on specific functions or to search for keywords related to topics that they need help with
