We have an online questionnaire that we would like to make responsive for all major browsers.
The questionnaire can be accessed at [url removed, login to view]
Project Requirements:
For all screens sizes -
1. ensure that questionnaire uses https and that it is recognized as a secure site by all browsers
2. place Yes/No and Male/Female response buttons side by side rather than top and bottom
3. ensure that text from slider questions on income and net worth does not appear when next question is presented (right now zeros will spill over when high values are selected)
4. replace "$-" with "-$" for the worst return scenario for the investment portfolio questions
For Internet Explorer -
1. Fix so that the entire survey does not appear at once and behaves like it does on the other 3 major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, and Safari)
2. Ensure that website logo does not appear grainy (only an issue in IE for some reason)
For Safari on desktop/laptop -
1. adjust container widths so that for job choice questions, the phrase "50% chance of doubling lifetime income; 50% chance of x% cut to lifetime income" takes up 2 lines instead of 4 and all graphics display properly
2. Don't allow user to be able to advance to next question or go back to previous question using arrow keys
For all mobile browsers -
1. We have 4 slider questions - sliders don't work properly as swiping carries you forward or back one question, and we can't even click to move slider in safari. We need to fix these question types so that they work on tablets and phones.
2. The last 3 series of questions (portfolio choice, job choice, and gamble) need to display similar to desktop version for screen sizes down to 8" (even better if it works down to 4.5"). This means all graphics in responses display as on desktop, but shrunken down as needed. If we can't make these questions work down to 4.5", we need to throw an error message that doesn't allow the user to begin the questionnaire and instead requests that they try on a larger device.
3. there is a check box question that doesn't advance forward in all browsers after time delay
4. The text response to the occupation question won't submit and advance to the next question in Firefox
5. The select drop down box widths are too narrow in Chrome and Firefox to display the selections made
