Magento Payment Integration

I have a custom Magento 2 Payment extension which can receive payments. I would like to update the extension to allow refunds. The payment gateway provides an API endpoint for Business Account to Customer payments.
The integration should be complete, handle all success/error response codes. Compatibility with all browsers and mobile devices is important.
Good candidates should have previous experience building Payment Integrations for Magento 2. Please share relevant links and references.
