Project is in 2 parts.

**Part 1** - I currently provide a free chart service for customers that is now becoming very time-consuming. I wish to automate this as much as possilbe.

The process is as follows:

1 - Create chart in proprietary software. (Manual)

2 - Output unbranded PDF (Manual) - see example A

3 - Brand PDF (I wish this automated) I use Adobe Acrobat CS4 to do this - see example B

The branding is a littel more complicated than just putting my logo in. I also need to replace the month from numerals to Alpha. This is required because of different date conventions across the world (USA month first) Europe (Day first). You will see this conversion in example B.

There are 3 jpg insertions required plus some changed text (which is constant for every chart).

**Part 2**

In either Example A or B you will see two columns of numbers down each side of the chart. I need to output these numbers into a text file format. or an excel-type format.

Unfortunately, the proprietary software I use to create teh charts only allows "printing" there is no api for me to collect these numbers. So I need them scraped from the PDF file. These scraped numbers must be 100% accurate.

## Deliverables

The file size of each chart is about 350kb. This cannot increase.

I am open to other ideas. I am not wedded to working with PDF if something else is better.
