Peroform search using Sphinx with mysql integration

Hi,
I need help from someone who is expert in Sphinx search. I already configured sphinx on my linux vm and now I need to integrate with mysql and have to perform search queries using php script. Your provided solution should work on our server (MYSQL version: 14.14 Distrib [url removed, login to view] and Linux version: Debian version 6.0.5.). You need to do following:
- Configure Sphinx on linux with proper indexing technique
- Integrate with MySql
- Execute sql queries using php script
You should able to work independently on your own vm using above mentioned versions of mysql and debian. Later we can apply those changes on our server with mutual help. You need to apply for this task only if you have done sphinx work before and also share with me sample work.
