I need a .NET C# PGN reader. It does not need to be able to play chess, just read a PGN string and display the moves.
Functionality -
It should extend a user control so it can be used in another app.
It should have an initialization function that accepts the following:
moves in PGN format. This will be in a set and easy to parse format that will be supplied.
It needs the following calls:
next move
last move
goto move#
The board and piece graphics should be scaleable.
It does NOT need the following:
It does not need to be able to play.
It does not need to display the moves. I only need the board.
For development, you can use any source for the graphics. But they should be easy to change in Visual studios.
The board cannot be a graphic.
The app needs to be a WINFORM app written in C# .NET 2.0 and be loadable in Visual Studios Express 2012
You should provide an interface for testing. The interface will need to be able to accept the PGN, have next, last and goto buttons.
This is NOT a full chess app. It only does this one thing. I built an HTML/Javascript version in just a few hours.
This should not take more than 5 hours for a qualified .NET developer.
If you would like the project, then bid appropriately.
If I am unable to find someone qualified who has placed an appropriate bid, I will build the app myself.
