Design Brief: Logo and Headline Font for Connect Experience Design 1. Background:
Connect Experience Design is a new business that specialises in providing innovative and user-centred experience design solutions. The company aims to create meaningful connections between people, companies and experiences.
2. Objective:
The primary objective of this logo design is to capture the essence of Connect Experience Design and convey its core principles. The logo should communicate professionalism, creativity, innovation, and a strong sense of connection. It should be visually appealing and easily recognizable, leaving a lasting impression on clients and potential customers.
3. Target Audience:
The target audience for Connect Experience Design comprises businesses and organisations seeking to enhance their customer experiences. These may include companies from various industries, such as technology, retail, hospitality, and entertainment. The logo should resonate with this diverse audience, appealing to both corporate clients and individuals interested in experience design.
4. Design Guidelines:
- The logo should incorporate a circular design as a prominent element, symbolising unity, connectivity, and a holistic approach to experience design.
- Consider utilising the connected letter "Cs" as a creative element within the circular design. This can represent the idea of "Connect" and help reinforce the brand identity.
- The logo should have a modern and sleek aesthetic, reflecting the forward-thinking and contemporary nature of Connect Experience Design.
Below are some ideas for inspiration
- Colours should be chosen thoughtfully to convey professionalism, creativity, simplicity and inclusivity. *I have a particular affiliation to the Indigenous flag colours as they are similar to the German flag, my heritage, however I acknowledge they may not work for accessibility and people with vision impairments such as colour blindness.
The logo needs to work in monochrome as it will go on T-shirts etc.. Feel free to explore different colour combinations that enhance the overall impact of the logo.
Though I also like the ideas of a “tube” font, which could be cursive
- The logo should work well in various applications, including digital platforms, print materials, signage, and social media profiles. It should be scalable without losing its visual impact or legibility.
- Typeface selection should be legible and clear, but also distinctive to create a unique visual identity for Connect Experience Design. See below for ideas, I like the classic cursive style
5. Deliverables:
Upon completion of the project, we expect the following deliverables from you:
- The final logo design in vector format Logo in an EPS (Vector) format. An EPS file, or - JPG, PNG, SVG and TIFF format.
- Full Color & Black and Reversed Color Logo.
- Any others
