Our e-commerce website is changing to a content based site. Various functions like news, articles, Facebook updates, weather feed etc. Logos are provided but need a great layout and design. Extremely high traffic on the site, so code needs to be very clean and efficient.
## Deliverables
1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No 3rd party components unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement).
Delivery on time as agreed. Ongoing communication. Regular live updates so I can see the progress. OBJECTIVES: *Project needs to be completed by December 22 2010 *Must be done in PHP & source code is expected to be provided upon completion *Developer must recommend or provide a ready made and highly regarded CMS software, preferably Joomla or Drupal. *Wherever possible, softcode should be used to allow for future changes *Site must be built as a template so other websites can be easily created with other themes LAYOUT Attached Top Navigation -pregnancy, baby, toddler, big kid, for you, competitions, Forum, Shop Bottom navigation - contact us, advertising, about us, T&C, Privacy, Security, TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 1-News & Articles, feeds, sponsors per block. a-Allow to insert comments related to news b-Allow to for a "Like" button to rate an article by the public or a member or on other's comments. c-News must be categorized into a flexible number of Tags. For example: Tag1-Sections: Parenting, pregnancy, relationships, health and may be others. Users must be able to select a news category. Tag2:Ages: Referring to children age ranges: 0-2, 2-5 etc. d-News/articles will be inserted manually or automatically fed. 2-Insert Scripts for tools: All scripts have already been sourced, just need it skinned and laid out within the website design. a-baby names b-ovulation calculator c-baby's due date d-height predictor e-pregnancy weight tracker and a few others, tickers e-Add our current forum and re-skin. One login for whole site. 3-Search Facilities a-Selection for search all site, or separate sections. 4-Login and Customer DB Build a database of customers 5-Newsletters Facilities using external program with outside IP address. Must synchronise with website. a-Newsletter tools for subscribers b-Allow for easy opt out by an option menu. c-Newsletter manager with emailing facilities using an external IP address 6-Banner Manager - may be separate software.
