Create a modal dialog in a quasar project with a typeahead select

I am using [login to view URL] as a template and I want code that when the little search icon is clicked a dialog is displayed with a typeahead select that is attached to an axios call. The type ahead should become active after three charachers are typed and send two values, an ID and a search string. Once a value is selected just a simple alert with the MemberID of the selected value is fine. The api will be given once a person is accepted to the project. It's a simple public url. All I need is code that will be added to my project. No jQuery or PHP solutions. It has to compliment a Quasar/Vue.js project. An example is at [login to view URL] Using Asynchronous Method (Ajax call?) execpt I would like to use Axios instead of AJAX
