1 SECTION A – INTRODUCTION
1.1 PROBLEM STATEMENT
• A client has a family friend getting married
• A poet has written a poem for the occasion
• A poem will be read at the wedding, with which, a copy of the poem will be handed over in art-work form
• The poet is also intending to use this artwork for use in her portfolio
• They’re looking to provide a high quality impactful, memorable piece of artwork with the poem
1.2 OBJECTIVE
• Place a poem into a high-quality piece of artwork
1.3 ASSETS
• Produce one version of each concept (see below) for selection by our client
1.4 BACKGROUND
• The couple are keen tennis players, and they met on the tennis court
• They both work as Tennis coaches
• Their wedding date is the 20th of December 2018
2 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
2.1 DELIVERABLES
• Must be produced in vector format
• Lossy photographs of the couple may be used in concepts if necessary
• Dimensions: A3
• Produced with professional printing in mind
2.2 FILES
• In vector format
• Fonts used in the production of the assets
3 CONCEPTS
3.1 CONCEPT 1 – TENNIS POSTER
• Create a tennis poster
• Overlay the poem on the tennis poster in an attractive font
Known Challenges
It’s a really long poem, so you’ll need to be mindful as to how you handle the text and the colours

NB – these photographs would need to be made into a stylised vector
3.2 CONCEPT 2
• The poem with the happy couple in silhouette

3.3 CONCEPT 3
• Three column view
• Old English style font
• Images of the couple integrated within the art work
• Image of couple looking out to see or by some interesting architecture
• High quality soft colours
4 RESOURCES
• Photographs of the couple to be married will be provided to the selected bidder, a few have been provided for an example (attached)
