We’re requesting collaboration on the design of a corporate wallpaper image / background image. This image will serve as the background image on the personal computer displays of team members within a company. The corporation / company is engineering heavy, therefore the image will feature engineering related content.
We are looking for an experienced graphic designer. We're looking for an expert, who is able to deliver an elegant solution with relative ease. We're looking for simplicity, uniqueness and high quality.
The successful candidate will be provided with some of the following objects:
1. company logo
2. company name
3. company domain of expertise and area of business examples of technical graphics, symbols created by engineers and designers within our team, e.g. electrical schematics
4. Mechanical drawings
5. Process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID)
Initial concepts:
1. Heavy zoom in to a high quality vector format representation of a simplified electrical schematic or mechanical drawing for example. Set camera view angle to an oblique, complex (angled in two dimensions) angle such that we are abstracting the functional aspects of the schematic. The justification behind an approach like this would be to communicate the care and detail (and beauty thereof) that goes into the creation of our products
2. style the later line drawing like "blue prints" (white or light lines on blue / turquoise background). In our case, the background may be from our brand definition colors.
3. The same approach could be taken with our logo (oblique angle, zoomed in such that heavy abstraction is achieved).
The output / image produced should be:
1. inspired
2. simple and elegant
3. appreciated by our team (developed with feedback from our team)
4. not too complex
5. likely incorporating company colors
6. the aim is to make just a small but meaningful contribution towards achieving a greater level of professionalism and organization among a team of dedicated individuals.
7. May be multi-purpose, e.g. double as a Zoom, Teams, etc. background
The deliverables are:
1. Image files in a variety of appropriate formats.
2. The native .ai or .psd file together with all source native files will be delivered.
3. The native file will be completely compile-able / usable with no missing components, fonts,
etc
