Ghostwriting a suspense, romance novel
Looking for native English speaker with good grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure, to ghostwrite a suspense, romance fiction/novel.
The whole fiction is estimated to be around 120,000 words, we will work in phrases over 2-6 months.
Conceptual storyline and character settings will be provided.
The challenge is to express the inner conflict and personality of each character in a consistent, and delicate manner to invoke the emotional reactions wanted from your readers.
The setting of this novel would be in ancient China so understanding of the cultural background would be preferred, otherwise pictures and context can be provided.
Good performance will be rewarded future contracts and opportunity to share royalty for lifetime.
When applying for this task, please indicate:
- Are you native English speaker with fiction writing experience?
- Have you written suspense and romance novel before?
- How much time per day can you dedicate to this project
- Pls provide two quotes for the project - one without sharing of royalty, one with sharing of 20% royalty for book sale lifetime.
- Please share an interesting character you have written previously and how you shape this character in the story (can include extract of your previous work).
Interview and selection process:
Selected candidate will be given an extracted plot to write 500-1000 words as a test of English level, story development and writing style.
Regular lines of communication open for writer-client collaboration by email / whatsapp.
Submission of writing every Monday morning. The task should include revisions based on feedback.
