Hi, I require assistance with the following project that I am developing. I am an individual entrepreneur (beginner).
I have developed an excel based algorithm/program with share data from IQ Feed/XLQ. The program has multiple strategy options and potential for model optimisation. It includes a strategy backtester that I also developed, in Excel.
I need assistance with the following :
1) Develop a database of time-based data points, in Excel. I work with 3 minute data from IQ Feed/XLQ, which is limited to 2,000 points i.e ~4 days. I would like to have a 2-6 month database to test and optimise strategies. Database should be Excel based, as I optimise strategy setting in Excel.
2) Set-up the Excel DDE (i.e Excel/TWP trading). I have an IB trading account and would generate trade limits, SL and TP in Excel. This should then trade via TWP.
3) I am capable of developing my own optimiser in Excel, but if their are ML options, I would be interested. My program has multiple indicators and settings than can be turned on/off and measures performance such as profit, drawdown, loss, wins etc.
