Max MSP Jitter programmer to translate text to video

I require the development software/application that can convert text into video.
I have a text document, I also have a video clip for each letter of the alphabet.
I would like each letter in the text document to trigger a video file that corresponds with that letter.
For example:
Hello how are you
h triggers [url removed, login to view]
e triggers [url removed, login to view]
l triggers [url removed, login to view]
l triggers [url removed, login to view]
o triggers [url removed, login to view]
and so on…
I would then like to have a final video file that includes the whole sequence combined:

I have been advised that Max/MSP/Jitter would be suitable for the creation of such a program, however I am open to alternative suggestions.
I would like the project completed within a very short time frame, no more than 5 days.

assumptions: the end product is one video file based on 1 textfile, built up from a selection of videofiles for every character in the textfile (including blank space) without sound.
