Hi,
We have a field application, running under MS Windows OS (laptops) which requires the operating system to be able to both Boot and Shutdown instantaneously, i.e. it is TIME CRITICAL.
So we need somebody to develop a mechanism which will shutdown Windows with a particular key press seq. (eg ctrl+L) like a "light switch" and when the machine is rebooted will turn it on again like a "light switch" straight into windows.
Essentially the Hibernate functionality but it HAS TO BE INSTANTANIOUS!
