Regular wedding video editors. -- 4

We need a few editors to join our talented team of wedding editors. STOP! Have you done a WEDDING EDIT?

We are a lower budget film agency that offers affordable filming services to brides in Victoria and NSW in Australia.

This role is ongoing and will require regular work and follow ups. ( you must be able to communicate regularly to the project manager)

Each week we have at least 1 wedding to filming from that one wedding are 4 videos so there is alot of volume of work and its regular.

4k Footage so only suits an editor or agency that can download 4k files over drop box for a wedding of around 6-8 hours of footage from two videographers, drone and sync sound.

We are not able to offer high fees for editing but we do offer regular work, weekly payments and lots of support over the editing process. WE also use [login to view URL] as our project manager for all edits so this needs to also be something you can learn to use and weekly updates are required in this platform.

STEPS

1. Please share examples of any wedding edits you have done

2. download some 4 footage and check your internet and computer can cope FIRST you must be able to download the files or this will not work.

Every week we have 1-2 weddings so editing teams are welcome but we do require a certain quality like the following

Don't use the bumpy or out of focus footage wait till the videographer is in position and take the footage from when they are settled in the shot.

Colour correction- we want all out footage to look clean and clear and must be produced in 4K

Often we have a seperate sound file for the groom from the Tascam but the sound clipped to speeches or celebrant is through the footage so you need to be able to operate the sound file from the footage of these speaking parts where and if needed.

Creatively we are open to your ideas, we are guided by the couple, there love, personality the music they liked on the day but need our editors to see an opportunity to do a quick pan with the drone, slow frame, pull backs shots, fast them slow moments, flick through footage quickly for effect when suits etc.

We are always looking at how we can improve and right now is the time to upgrade our quality of editing.

EDITS

*Speeches Reel

( all talking from speeches with couple watching over the talking in moments) we have one camera on couple and one camera on the speaker.

*Love Story - 20-30 mins depending on the package they choose full day coverage best bits and all parts of the day start to end of the night

*Highlight 15-8 mins depending on package shorter video to show BEST bits and highlight the couples love and day in a shorter video.

*Ceremony Edit - all footage from start to end "lightly edited" only two cameras to choose from so one in isle the whole time and the other is over the shoulder of the bride and groom at the front to the sides so your either front footage or side camera for the edit.
