Navodila natečaja

The logo will be used for a product called "Data Warehouse Wiz", which is a tool for database design. The logo should imply a wise wizard, or better yet, the wise wizard's tools. We very much like the idea of the attached clipart, a wizard hat. However, the attached clipart is not our and we require a customized logo that we will own outright and exclusively.

The logo should look good at various sizes, including:
1. Full size 160 x 160 pixels, should be smooth and eye-appealing.
2. Reduced to a 32 x 32 pixel icon, should continue to be smooth, eye-appealing, and recognizable.
3. Reduced to 16 x 16 pixel icon, should at least be recognizable as the same logo, and the main feature should be recognizable for what it is. Thus, if the main feature of the 160 x 160 logo is a hat, then when reduced to 16 x 16 it should still be recognizable as a hat.

The contestant must present the 160 x 160 pixels image, 32 x 32 pixels icon and 16 x 16 pixels icon.


The winning logo will become a trademark owned by Magentic LLC, the contest sponsor. The logo will be used in everything from a 160x160 pixel letterhead (or website header) down to a 16x16 pixel program icon.

The contestant MUST present the 160 x 160, 32 x 32, and 16 x 16 pixels images. 32 x 32 is the most important because it will be used mainly as an icon. Do not put words.
