I want to create a comic strip.

During the ongoing working relationship with the winner of this contest, I would submit to you outlines for work on a (hopefully) regular basis. I would write the content and give a rough sketch (I am an excellent artist but quite a bad cartoonist). The rough sketches would be an outline and direction of how the comic would be drawn and laid out for that edition (I can't guarantee I could produce weekly entries let alone daily but I plan to put at least a LOT of effort into finding Jokes that would be relevant to the comic's content, and engaging to the reader.)

Taking the rough sketch, you would make it actually good. Your style and content would be based on character and location designs that we would work out in the preliminary stages of our working relationship. I would pay for all effort made and not for finished product only. (This payment arrangement is available only to the winner of the contest, no payment will be made to any other artist.)
Payment will be on a hiring for product basis and never extend to Royalties or Profit sharing in any way during the arrangement.
On a positive note: Your name would be printed on every comic as "Illustrated by"

The Characters are rounded and very cute. There is a:
WOMAN in her MID 30S, GREEK, SHORTER, and a little plump (this is mainly because of the rounded nature of how the characters are drawn). She is very cute and drop dead gorgeous. Her hair has to be immaculate, always. The hair would probably have a strand or two of curly hair hanging from the sides of her face.
She is the main character. She is a hairdresser.

Her HUSBAND is THIN and TALLER. He is also a hairdresser, he is a little bit effeminate but not too much. HE may have facial hair, maybe not. THIS character is the only one in the entire strip that is NOT done in the very rounded and cute style. He is SUAVE.

The main setting and storefront that will be shown is a HAIR SALON. I will not reveal any names for copyright reasons but put any name you like on the front sign of the store with your best attempt at being a graphic designer (for the sign's logo), when you draw the store's FRONT VIEW.

Keep in mind that the printed product of these drawings is very small. Take a look at your local newspaper's comic section. Weekend COLOR and daily B&W. They're pretty small.
(Also make note of the block patterns if you like)

That's it! Please send me sketches of the TWO CHARACTERS and the STORE FRONT (and POSSIBLY THE INTERIOR of the shop as well if you want to). I will make my selection based on the submissions.
