Please submit designs for this project. I am not interested in seeing your other work - this is a contest. I'm looking for your ideas.

The attached images of gold rank braid should be used as the basis for the design on a black background - maybe as if the mug was the cuff of a sleeve.

The background of your design must be transparent and feature a version of the braid graphic in a thoughtful way - it must look professional. Keen attention needs to be paid to the fact that the print will not be all-round so sharp edges to graphics should be avoided unless the design works well.

The braid graphic should either be centred at the opposite side to the handle or one to either side. In modern, professional font should be the rank name. Provision of files to allow me to personalise the wording should be included.

Please see attached examples of braid that should be reproduced and the design template from the print provider. The more detail in the braid graphic the better but I'm open to being convinced by a block-colour, more abstract design.

If successful there is potential for further work.
