Navodila natečaja

We will offer pick-up and drop services for customers using a mobile and online platform. The target of this are local shops, who can then use this service to do local delivery of goods and urban young professionals who believe that their time is worth more than doing small errands like picking up/dropping something to/from family/friends/colleagues/etc.

This application should be accessible using browser and mobile apps for both Android and iOS. The browser based experience in mobile devices should be the same as using the app. For now, in limited scope the focus will be on phone form factor only, not tablet.

The application has two different sets of users. Senders and transporters. The following screen requirement comes to mind, however, feedback appreciated.

-- Senders --
1. The sender will have a registration/login screen, where they can login/register using email and password, or they can use an external identity provider like facebook/google/twitter/linkedin to login/register.
2. Once logged in, they can see the status of existing parcels that they have shipped if any are in progress in a list and also in a map.
3. From there they might select an existing package to get further details on the status
Or
4. See previously shipped packages list and then from there go to details (same as 3)
or
5. Ship a new package; Here they will provide package details, dimension and weight (take a photo of the package), recipient details either in the text box/use map to select, select some options (tracking, signing, fragile, perishable), these information will be used and a price will be shown, then they might select to send it or cancel. In the price options we might also have different options, like within standard/express...

-- Transporters --
6. The transporters have a login screen, the login credentials will be provided by us.
There are three lists which have similar look and feel but have different purposes.
7.1. A list of packages that have been accepted (to be delivered) (the default sort will be the distance to where it should be delivered), and in a map shows where they should be delivered.
7.2. A list of packages that have been accepted (to be picked-up) (the default sort will be the distance to where it should be picked-up), and in a map shows where they should be picked-up.
7.3. A list of packages that are available to be accepted ((the default sort will be the distance to where it should be picked-up), and in a map shows where they should be picked-up.
8. Selecting a package will give them the option of accepting the job, if they accept it, then this will be added to the list of packages to the picked up
9. Once at a recipient they can select a package for delivery by selecting it from 7.1, they can confirm delivery and if signing was requested they can ask the recipient to sign on the device.
