This wide array of expertise and experience can assist you in a vast range of publishing ventures: - Project management for publications - Research - Commissioning artists, writers, musicians, illustrators, designers and narrators - Writing and editing - Proofreading to a very high standard - Concept design, eg title, theme, colour selection, font selection and developing style guide - High competency with Adobe InDesign (since version 2) for complete book design (Table of Contents, Master Pages, Chapters, consistent text and colour styles, correct placement of photos and illustrations (EPS, TIF, JPG etc) and captions, footnotes, references and index - High level of attention to detail in all stages of the publication design process - Significant experience in taking publications through to printing or publishing online, eg output to Press Ready PDF with crop marks and other printer requirements - Researching stock photos, illustrations, music and video - Detailed experience of seeking copyright permission and copyright agreements - Audio narration for audio production, eg CD, WAV and mp3 - Audio editing, eg mixing narration and background music - Uploading audio files to online services - Supervision of video productions - Designing intros and outros for video - Uploading video to YouTube or other online services - Editing and designing newsletters and enews (using services such as MailChimp) - Designing posters and banners Over many years I gave presentations using PowerPoint.
