Responsibilities: Started as part time bookmobile driver and data clerk entry in Acquisitions. I was promoted to Librarian in 1989. Answer reference questions, create booklists, order materials including books, dvds, and cds. Create programs for adults. I was promoted to Electronic Resources Librarian in 1996. I was responsible for previous duties plus web site design and maintenance, assessing and ordering on-line databases, training staff on software programs and internet searching. I was promoted to Supervising Librarian in 2004. I was responsible for all previous duties plus supervising 16 full and part time employees including 9 professional staff members. This included finding city and country related departments as well as commercial, nonprofit, and associations. I learned to find websites in other languages that I did not speak, identifying those that the company would find relevant to them. I found thousands of entries for them while working from home.
