SOS Children’s Village is a non profitable organization and works independently without any kind of interference from the government. The very humble and noble Herman Gmeiner, a philanthropist from Australia started the organization back in 1949. With time it has spread its caring and helpful arms across the world and is present in 133 countries right now. Being inspired by the United Nations and its philanthropic activities across the world they want to ensure a safe and happy home for every child in the world. Taking care of orphaned and abandoned babies and kids the organization dreams and strives to find all the kids in the world a place they can call home.
