We are looking for an Electron expert to create a proof of concept menu bar application for Mac and Windows. The goal is for the application to take a screenshot and upload it to our custom backend. In the next step, the user should be able to create a Sticky Note and upload it to the room. As an optional goal, we would like the ability to drag a file to the screen edge to automatically upload it to a room. We already have a WPF app that has this functionality. We would like to understand how difficult it would be to access these native features.
In order to access these features, the user first needs to login to the app using our Magic Link authentication system.
You will be given access to our API documentation. I've also attached an exemplary screen of the click-through prototype (Figma).
As initially mentioned, the app should run on both Windows and Mac be using the Electron framework.
Hi, what you describe is 100% doable in Electron, are the uploading and auth done via a RESTful implementation? If so then everything you mentioned can be accomplished. If possible I would like to have access to a copy of the WPF version to understand exactly what you require for the app. Please let me know if you are interested in my solution.
