routing protocols for choosing the right path where there is a minimum of attenuation using omnet++ and the framework inet

My project is to create a simple protocol that chooses the right path where there is a minimum of attenuation. I’m working with omnet ++ and with the framework inet. I need to create some attenuation in a specific place in the network and we will choose different type of the obstacles as attenuator (glass, concrete, brick) each obstacle affect an amount of loss of the signal I need to place a lot of obstacle in the network and make the program choose the right path where the signal will affect the minimum of attenuation.
