In the past we have always used an marketing software program for Windows. Now, it seems that the website for this software is no longer supported so my already bought licence I'm not able to get information from and also after trying to buy a new licence this was not provided.
This software after a first installation however provides a trial time to use this. However on installing this, after the trial time it will no longer work and it seems to write information informing any new installation that the trial period has already past.
Simple solution ... I need to have created a simple script that will check all files on the hardedrive based upon name and size so on using this application we would be able to run it so the app will create a full log of all current files so that after just installing any program, the script will check and create a new log and provide any and all information regarding all new created files compared with the base scan and also any change in size for any already existing files.
This way we would be able to just delete any of these files at the end if the trial period and just re-install the software to start this trial period over again.
This just needs to be a simple script running using Windows just providing 2 options. Option 1 is to start the original scan and option to to start the second scan after installing any program and provide the requested information regarding any changes made within any folder on the harddrive.
