Looking for a serious, experienced and creative web designer. You must be able to design, develop and customize wordpress in clean CSS / XHTML. We have opened a barbershop and need a unique website for this shop. It's a barbershop for haircuts, styling, braids, cornrows.. etc for both men, women and kids. Our main customers are afro-americans and latin men/teenagers. Tasks: - Design a corporate logo for the barbershop. You have to be very creative here. I have some ideas, but you are free to make suggestions. - Design a wordpress theme (its more a cms than just a blog). The site will look very similar to http://www.softsheen-carson.com. Recommend you to study this site properly. If you can implement a similar site in wordpress, then you are the right person for this job. ----- Use web 2.0 technologies and colors. You are free to choose the colors. The colors used at the shop are green, yellow and red. But I don't think this is a good combination for a website. Any suggestions appreciated. The new colors for the website and the logo will replace the old ones at the shop. ----- Search engine friendly templates and must be clean xhtml/css. ----- Colorful design: pictures of models/celebrity with cool haircuts and styles should be included in the templates. Study the softsheen site above. ----- each page must have a different look (e.g different models picture). ----- Entry page like [login to view URL] (flash/slide-show) ----- Its a barbershop which is specialized in afro-american hair. So you'll need to find high quality black models for the template and slide-show ----- White models/celebrities with nice hair styles should also be included in the template and slide-show. I need the site to look trendy by using web2.0 technologies like ajax where possible e.g when contact form is sent or when a visitor subscribes to the newsletter (must remain search engine friendly).
