Simple Web Development & Design

This project is for the development of a fairly simple website that has all of the content already prepared by our firm. Your primary responsibility will be to create an extremely professional and simple looking web design and integrate the content into the design you create. The website will promote a weight loss program that is directed at patients that are referred by doctors in the United States. Thus, the site must be of the highest quality in look and feel to be effective. **No generic responses. Please answer questions below** Please send a portfolio of past web sites worked on along with comments on the following criteria to let us know you possess the qualifications we are looking for. Applicants who don't provide this information will not be contacted. Here are the qualifications we need in a candidate: - We are not very creative when it comes to web design, so we need someone who is creative and can make a very professional looking website. Someone who has the ability to come up with good ideas. Not someone who just creates standard templates - Must be very good at flash. The homepage will contain a series of flash images. - Must know photoshop to adjust images, logos and to create headers. - Must have the ability to make text look interesting. For example, instead of writing in one font throughout the whole website, break up the monotony by creating interesting font sizes, colors, etc. - Must know how to make website look good on all browsers ie explorer, firefox, safari, etc. THIS IS A MUST - Some images needed in the website will be provided, but the candidate must have the ability to recommend images that are appropriate for the website - Must give updates at the end of the day of their work on the site. If the candidate has an emergency and has to stop work, they must have a back up plan to complete the site. -Must pay very close attention to all details and be very detail oriented, including text spacing, image spacing, etc. We do not want to spend extra time having to proof your work for issues that you should be able to correct through your own quality control checks. - Must have the ability to follow all instructions the first time. This is also very important. Questions are welcomed. Must check your work to make sure instructions are followed, and no additional errors are made before presenting the final changes to us. - Revisions must be provided until we are 100% happy with the website -Must be extremely proficient in English. We will want to IM with you to make sure you can speak and understand English. - Let us know the time duration for which you can provide free maintenance and support once after the project is completed. Sometimes little things need to be adjusted once the site is marketed. If we need to add more to the site and it takes time then of course we will set another budget. PROJECT #1 Weight loss site to educate patient referrals on our weight loss program. Below is a rough draft of the details. Note that all content is already written and that the website will consist of four web pages. We ideally would like 1) The home page will be a basic information page that will have flash images at the top of the page and contain images that we will provide within the text of the page. We want a developer to come up with a creative and professional font and color scheme to maximize the effectiveness of the page. 2) The second page will be simple text with one image that we will provide and that you can add to complement the text. 3) The third page will be simple text with images that we will provide and that you can add to complement the text. 4) The fourth page will be similar to page two and three. NOTE that we are looking for a highly creative designer who thinks outside the box and has a history of creating extremely professional looking sites to take our information and create a vision for the best design and structure for the site, regardless of how we have laid out
