Dear Reader, Hope this finds you well. The project is simple. You will be given files with text (for our GMAT instructional videos). You simply need to prepare voiceovers and return the professionally recorded mp3 files. Further details-- - Both male and female candidates are welcome. - The voice-over is for academic (GMAT training) videos; topics are Quant as well as Verbal. While detailed academic knowledge is not required, an academic inclination is needed. Hence, professionals with strong academic background / those who have worked on academic projects would be better suited for this project. - Voice clarity, modulation, energy, and instructional-yet-friendly tonality are a few virtues essential for due completion of this project. - 1-2 rounds of feedback may be needed on certain files. - The project timeline is ~3 weeks. (Assuming one takes 5x time for recording, one should be able to finish the project in 75 hours. Another 25 hours may go into implementing the feedbacks. Hence, 100 hours, spread over 3 weeks). - Please be willing to do a 1-minute sample to help us reach a decision. Greetings! My name is John Heavern, a voice and writing talent here. I possess a deep, calming, pleasing and pleasant natural voice with clear and concise annunciation. A perfect fit for narratives, educational videos, audiobooks, trailers, documentaries, tv/radio ads, dramatic and/or dark subject matter of any kind. I can also adjust my pitch and tone to accommodate character voices (animation). There are plenty of samples of my work on my profile. With the exception of my audiobook samples from "Slaughterhouse 5", I wrote all material. I wasn't satisfied with my old mic, so I recently purchased a "Blue Yeti" pro voice over mic. Only "American History" and "Slaughterhouse 5, chap. 2 pg 23 have new mic recording samples at this time. I also have a closet insulated with 3-inch thick foam that I use as my studio. Audacity recording software and Macbook Air with Big Sur software. As a writer, I am an outstanding reader with a diverse vocabulary and intimate knowledge of the english language. Strong "mood" interpretive skills: when writing lyrics to musical tracks, I must "feel" the mood of a musical piece and write an appropriate message.
