We are seeking a highly creative video editor/animator with exceptional storytelling skills to assist with creating 2x short promotional videos for a personalized children’s book. The video editor/animator will be responsible for the concept, design, sequencing and creation of each video (max 1 – 3 minutes duration) to be consistent with the product/business branding and key messages. The illustrations, music and some design aspects will be provided. The video editor/animator will be highly proficient in all relevant video creating/animation applications and have solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Final Cut, Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere and After Effects). You will have demonstrable video editing ability, a strong portfolio and thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity Prior experience in creating picture/children’s book trailers will be highly regarded. The video editor/animator will consult with the illustrator, graphic designers/developers, sound engineers/musicians and directors throughout the production process.
