First of all lets discuss about the compatibility, Since oculus and Pico only supports their own OS, so standalone is only possible for them, HTC rift is not a device, and Oculus does not comes with a foot tracker, Now lets discuss about the app, the reference Video shown is a very easy to make realtime application on Oculus quest 2 , My experienced Lies in making Real-time Interior rendering application for Quest 2 and mobile platform, So graphically its not a very demanding game, computationally also its not a big deal since The projectile motion can be easliy calculated if it does not need Magnus effect, center of gravity offset and any thing that deviates from a normal sphere motion, now for foot tracking , In quest 2 , I would be using a makeshift arrangement to connect right controller to leg and make the app logic according to that.
