We are looking for a sourcing agent to help us to find a supplier for a specific design of sport shoes. It would be good if you already have experience or connections with the fitness garment industry. The project includes (but is not limited to): - Researching of the product (material, function, sizing, availability, etc.) - concrete list with detailes will be delivered after the contact - Supplier prefered in Europe - Communicating with the manufacturers to make sure that they can meet our exact product specifications - Gathering a list of recommened high quality suppliers who could fulfill our needs Tbd: - Negotiation of pricing (including samples) - Verifying that the company is legitimate by performing a thorugh investigation of the company How does your work and educational background apply to this project? Hello The job description sounds a bit interesting to me as I worked in USA based towel manufacturing company, namely, Premier 1888 ltd. for five years as a procurement officer. So anything goes with sourcing products, pricing or procurement that makes me excited. I don't have knowledge of fitness clothing industry or do not have any experience in fashion designing. But I have some basic knowledge on procurement related matters.
